Cooktop five burner gas
One can control the temperature on every burner, boiling to simmer instantly. The griddle allows me cook anything from a pound of bacon to a grill cheese sandwich. I love my cafe cooktop

Love this stove~
I bought this a few months ago - it was a new model and there were not any reviews on it but it still was a GE Cafe and the previous reviews had been excellent so I bought. I love it! Lots of room, different size burners, comes with a griddle that worked great; easy to clean, heats evenly, knob placement is great. I am so happy with this stove top. It is AMAZING!!

Overall a great product
I just had this installed a week ago and it replaced my smaller GE Profile gas cooktop. so far, I love the functionality of this 36" cooktop! It is solid feeling, multiple pans can be going at once without any issues and the center burner BTUs are a solid upgrade for me. My one complaint is that the stainless steel seems to scratch VERY easily (compared to the GE Profile I just took out) and I've already buffed one of the letters off under a dial because I was trying to buff out a scratch. Oh well, I guess. Would've loved for it to stay new looking longer than a couple of days.

Cooking Grates Damaged My Cookware!
The burner grates were defective (rough unfinished surfaces), when I used them they scratched my cookware.

Perfect Design for Cooks
I purchased this to replace one we removed after our home was damaged by a devastating flood event in the Mississippi Delta backwater. After months of being flooded from our home, and months repairing damage, this cooktop is amazing. It’s beautiful as well as functional. The griddle, the options available for heating. I have never seen a burner that goes so low...yet will boil all the water in the largest pot! The installers were very impressed and repeated several times how nice it is.
This has been a bright spot in what otherwise was a stressful process.

Love it!
We have used our 36” wide GE Cafe Gas Cooktop for three months and we love it! The versatility is great, the simmer is so gentle and the power burners are just so hot! I love the griddle as well. It cooks evenly and is plenty big enough! Cleans up easily as does the stainless steel base. Love the hefty grate design and distance to flame. We do use the “Off” nob to disable burner use ... a very good feature! We store the heavy griddle when not in use.

Waste of Money - Should give it Zero stars
Replaced my 30" cook top (from another manufacturer) with this piece of garbage. What a mistake. Installed in September 2019 - now 15 months later the cast iron grates are chipped (guess they aren't really cast iron). The brushed bronze knobs are plastic and peeling. The stainless scratches far to easily and is a huge pain to keep clean. And the topper is that yesterday I noticed that the light for the gas lock had fallen in the hole. GE should be ashamed of itself for letting this garbage out of the factory. Never mind putting the Cafe name on it.

Works great, but plastic knobs do not last
This cooktop looks good and worked well. The knobs, however are plastic. I've had it 2 months and the finish is already wearing off. Very dissapointed
