Update to my initial review
I have now owned this fridge for 6 months and I'm disappointed with its performance. This was a replacement for the previous model that's now discontinued due to major fan and temp maintenance issues. I have already needed repairs for similar problems. My food isn't freezing, but it can't maintain a consistent temp and moisture level. So half the time the contents are covered in sweat and it is constantly ruining all my produce. GE needs to go back to the drawing board with this design. Frustrated and stuck with a fridge that's going to cost me dearly in future repairs and ruined food until I break down and just get rid of this overpriced piece of junk.

Nothing but problems!
We purchased this model in March to replace a GE Profile that was only 7 years old. I swore I would not buy another GE product due to issues with the last refrigerator but I was suckered in by the beautiful design and interior space of the Cafe. I should have listened to my husband! After about 3 months the refrigerator had started making very loud noises when running. The serviceman had said that everything seemed fine and it was just a loud appliance. Today after spending $300 at the grocery store, I come home to find the temp is 57 degrees. I have turned the thermostat as low as it will go and it will not come on. I now have to wait 4 days for another repairman to come out. Very frustrating!

I bought this refrigerator this week and Im not impressed. The hot water dispenser takes forever to heat up the water, it is faster to microwave a cup of water for tea. The cold water dispenser doesn’t dispense ice-cold water, just cold, like tap water. The ice maker is small, makes just a few ice...can’t even fill an ice bucket. And the compartment that dispenses all these is in the door, taking up a lot of space and making the door very thick...
Finally the freezer drawer has to be opened with 2 hands, otherwise, the drawer opens crooked, the stainless is not fingerprint resistant and the doors are not autoclose,..not a great fridge, just ok...

This is a beautiful fridge (if there is any such thing as a beautiful fridge) that fits nicely into our kitchen decor. We love the hot water feature and use it regularly for hot tea or hot chocolate. It has ample fridge space. However, the freezer storage is a bit sparse with two small drawers and then one large bin where everything gets somewhat stuffed and smashed. I have only had this fridge for about 6 months and am already experiencing an issue with noise. It started out quiet but then after about 4 months it developed this loud rumbling sound (as though it were an airplane about to take off!).

Great look and size!
Enjoying our new fridge! Super sleek look and ample space. Love the precise fill feature but disappointed that you have to hold the water button the entire time for the water to come out; also, you cannot suspense water when any of the fridge doors are open. Love the hot water feature as well but it does take a couple of minutes to heat up and I did not expect that. Finally, I wish the deli drawer was two separate drawers so that you don’t have to open both fridge doors to pull open the deli drawer. Was apprehensive about the small ice storage capacity but we haven’t had any issues with this - it makes ice quickly. Quiet fridge too!

Good looking product, POOR design, you have to open both doors to get to bottom tray in fridge.or either of the bins in comfort. small trays on inside of door useless.. Shelves not tall enough to place items of height.There is one shelve that will hold milk, carton of juice, condiments once filled there is no where else for ANYTHING with height. I hate this appliance,even if you are single or small family don't buy, you will be sooooo disappointed. And the ice dispenser shots ice all over the place, the ice freezes in the chute constantly, therefore you have to discard ice, pour warm water in the chute to melt, then clean up the mess on the floor. WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL

Prettiest Refrigerator That Doesn’t Work
Fell in love with the color and design of this refrigerator. It is gorgeous. And we found it spacious enough as well. The lighting inside is great.
But we’ve had it one week and it has broken down 3 times. It lost cooling. Ice melted and leaked onto our hardwoods. Lost $150 worth of food. To try to fix it we unplugged for more than one minute as instructed. We’ve done this 2x and it worked for a bit. Third time no luck. Not sure, but the back looks very poorly constructed. So disappointed.

Is it possible to be in love with a refrigerator?
It's only been a month, but I am so happy with the G.E. refrigerator...I have not previously owned G.E., but since I purchased it, I have discovered that a lot of people are familiar with the G.E. product line and love them...I love this "Café" series...to me it has a European look (although made in U.S.A...yay!!!) At first glance it is a beautiful looking refrigerator, but then the features!!! I love the ice maker...the slim design on the inside...not some big, bulky thing...and hot water in the door!!! It's fabulous...I just love my refrigerator and have told many people about it...it's a huge upgrade to my kitchen!! The answer is, "YES" !!!
