I only have a regular 3-pron outlet on the wall behind the toilet instead of a GFCI, is it OK if I use the LumaWarm heated toilet seat on this regular outlet? 2) my toilet seat is top mounted, do you have top-mount kit for top-side access only?
You should always use GFCI protection on bathroom sockets. It would be especially important for this toilet seat being that it is plugged directly into the socket. Do not use this without a GFCI socket that has been installed by someone that knows what they are doing. GFCI sockets are wired differently than regular sockets so unless you know what you are doing and wire them properly the GFCI will be useless.

The title says Heated Bidet Seat, but then in the specifications it says there is no Bidet function. Is this seat a Bidet or not?

Took the plunge
Because who can resist a good dad joke? And who can resist a great product? Convinced by the many other great reviews I purchased this seat and haven't looked back. From comforting a chemo therapy patient, to encouraging the grandchildren to potty train, this product has proven to be hands down the best affordable luxury that I've purchased in a long time.
Something that has a practical purpose with positive effect on everyone in the household isn't an item that comes along every day. This is that item. Perfect gift, perfectly easy to install, perfect choice.

Great Find
I was originally skeptical about buying a product of this type but was outvoted by the family. I was then happily surprised at the results. This product is well made, well designed and good looking. Also easy to keep clean. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We added one of these to our hall bath three years ago. When we remolded our Master Bath last year, we made sure to wire the toilet room with the necessary outlet so that we could enjoy a heated seat in there as well.
I can honestly say that there has never been an instance where a guest has used one of our bathrooms without first mentioning being surprised and then praising how comfortable that the heated seat was.
We have been so spoiled that it is a rude awakening when we travel and are forced to use a toilet without a Heated Seat.
We highly recommend. It is easy to install and we did not notice any addition to our electric bill.

Brondell Luma Warm heated toilet seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one was in the master bath and my wife loves it. I must say it's nice in the winter months. We have had it for about 4 years and it has worked great.
We just put the second one in the hall bathroom where house guests will use it. It was a big hit with the ladies at a Bunco party my wife just had.
It requires a 110 volt outlet on a GFCI near the toilet to operate.

You don't know you wanted until you get it !!!
I wanted a warm toilet seat for a long, long time and didn't know it was a thing until I decided to do a simple search. There are many out there but I decided on this one because you can sit on the lid. That's not something that normally happens but if you needed to, you could. The lowest setting took a little getting use to. At first I thought it was too warm but it really isn't. I was in my late 60's, female and installed it by myself. Very simple to install. I had to get an outlet installed and while I was at it, I had one installed in each bathroom because I just knew I'd be getting one for each. This is one of those things you don't know you wanted until you get it.
