DAMP dryer
I would, unhappily, confirm the experiences of other customers as to how this dryer works. It is a "damp dryer". i will set it for the highest level of dryness as well as "extra dry". i may still have damp laundry hanging around the house. Is this how an expensive dryer works!?? there are major issues here in my opinion. is it bad sensors not reading dampness correctly? i too, have an issue of the 'buttons' that don't respond when you press them. And, the manual instructing you not to iron after drying until you put laundry into a pile for a short while. this is supposed to cause the dampness to dissipate evenly??? what is a short while? what about wrinkling? not a fan of the dryer or the manual.

Poor Excuse for a Dryer
I had the 500 series washer and dryer installed in May 2020. I previously had the Bosch Axxis washer and dryer for 17 years. I had one service call on the Axxis washer and no service calls on the dryer. I read the reviews and decided the Bosch 500 dryer really could not be as bad as some had indicted. Well it is! Nothing gets dry in one run no matter how light the load is. I usually run everything on Quick 40 (minutes) twice to get even a light load dry. I have always air dried a lot of cloths. Now I put the cloths in for 40 minutes and still air dry them. Bosch should pay customers to use this dryer.

Great dryer
This is my first condenser dryer, but I bought this (along with matching washer) and I am very happy with both units. The dryer does take a fair amount longer to dry than a standard dryer, but it uses less electricity and gets the clothes dry, so this isn't a problem for me. The dryer is surprisingly noisier than the washing machine, but is is less noisy than my old dryer. I haven't experienced the damp clothes issue mentioned by other reviewers, but do keep in mind that the dryer doesn't get as hot as a traditional unit (and therefore takes longer). The only real con to this dryer is that I am not in love with the filter design. It basically opens up "like a book" and you have to clean both sides and the "spine". I wish it was a "single sided" or "flat" filter since that would be easier to clean.
One other note to mention is that I had to hire an electrician to redo the dryer plug because my old plug was 3 prong and this dryer takes a 4 prong. The manual said you can replace the cord, so I tried to buy a replacement 3 prong cord for it, but I couldn't figure out how to wire the cord the way Bosch said to wire it in the manual. They said there should be a wire going from the ground post to the neutral wire, but no such wire seemed to be included with either the cord I bought or the dryer. Neither I nor my handyman or electrician could seem to figure out how to get the dryer to be wired to Bosch standards, so I ended up having to wire a new outlet for the dryer, which was an unexpected expense for installation, but I still like the dryer regardless of this.
I would recommend this dryer regardless of the price (it is definitely on the pricy side). I definitely feel that I got what I paid for with this unit.

Damp clothes alert
This is a condenser dryer. It does not have a vent. It does not dry your clothes even on the highest setting. I was unaware of this and unfamiliar with this type of dryer when I bought it. On the highest cotton dry setting on the highest level 3 dryness level, after tumbling for 2 plus hours, my clothes were still not dry. I don't have time for this! If you like dry clothes, do not by this dryer.

Great unit
I have had this unit for several weeks and am generally very satisfied with it. Purchasing from Lowes was a pleasure. They have been very accommodating with my situation, and the installation guys were very nice given the small space they had to work with here.
I was a little skeptical of the non-venting aspect of the dryer, but it is great. No lint floating around. The clothes dry quickly and the unit is very quiet. On some cycles I found the clothes are too damp. When I then try to restart the cycle or use another cycle, the cycle ends with damp clothes. The solution: don't use that cycle. I mostly use the light cotton setting. Also, dress shirts still need to be ironed :-( The start button is a little wonky but I'll keep trying to figure it out. The dryer looks sharp, especially stacked with the matching washer. Definitely recommend it!

Okay if it works
Bought this dryer 1.5 years ago. By 12 months it was shutting off and showing a “DR” code. Called Bosch and they recommended service. Luckily I bought the Lowe’s insurance. After replacing the pump it worked for ~3 months then same thing. It started leaking water and ruined my new wood floors. Lowe’s had no one to service it so I got money back in the form of a gift card. No dryer for the last 2 weeks with a newborn at home. Expect more from Bosch! Maybe I got a dud, but I Do not recommend!

Good dryer
I had this dryer for a couple of months, I'm pretty happy with them .
It took awhile to get adjusted to the condenser (ventless), clothes took 25% longer to dry and the clothes feel damp at first touch but it quickly feel dry after a few minutes in the room.
I washed a polyester table cloth and it came out of the washer almost dry , the dryer sensor did not detect moisture so it automatically turned off after a few minutes, it freaked me out, I thought the machine was broken.
For those in condo with booster vent, I would not suggest you disconnect them, instead I bought an adjustable air conditioning vent grill and installed it, here is where I can regulate the amount of room air vented out.
My condo isn't air-conditioned so in the summer the vent grill is fully open so all the hot air from the dryer and the room are blasted out.
In the winter , I plan to close the vent a little , I will not shut it off completely bcos the laundry closet temperature can rise significantly.

Run, run away!
This dryer is horrible! 3 gym shorts, 3 t-shirts 3+ hours to make damp! I wouldn't give this dryer to someone I despise! Run to something else! Negative 10 stars is much too good a rating!
