Serious drill bit
This is one heavy duty drill bit that means business. Its special shank design means that it locks into the chuck very well and will not spin within the chuck. This allows for several holes to be drilled fairly quickly, without rechecking the bit.
The down side is you got to have a special drill to accept the bit, this will not work with a standard drill or hammer drill with the regular style chuck.
If you are a pro, or drilling lots of holes in masonry then it may be worth the investment. For the occasional DIY project I would use a the traditional drill bits. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Good product
Drill bit came through on a patio project we were doing. I was a little skeptical about using it on concrete but it worked perfectly at getting the holes drilled all the way through. I think this is a good product and I would definitely recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

drills like butter
I used it to drill the holes for my arbor. I used green wood which can be difficult to work with. I needed really big holes for the branches to slide into. the flanged end bit into the wood with no splitting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
