Quality grill.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the assembly of this grill was somewhat time consuming, it went together perfectly. I have never assembled anything where the parts lined up as perfectly as this unit. Very well made. I purchased this unit specifically because it was highly rated by a cooking magazine as having very even heat, and that it does. I just cooked 10 burgers and without having to shift their positions on the grill, all cooked exactly the same. The heat is also more intense on high and the heat retention with the cover down is exceptional. Highly recommend this unit.

weber genesis ii s-435 2019 new model
Just took delivery today curbside Ive been using an 11 year old 6 burner summit but it was wearing out, ignitors werent working, grease tray design was horrible, etc. So instead of continually refurbishing a $2500 grill I plunked down $1199 on this one. OMG what a difference. 4 main burners plus a searing burner. With 2 burners at full with ambient temp of 52 f it got to 425 degrees and with room on the other side for a half sheet 13x18 pan for indirect cooking, so pyrex casseroles no problem, you can use this as an outside oven. With 4 burners on full power i was hitting 625 degrees. Havent cooked anything on it yet but so far impressed. assembled it myself, it says 2 people and they are correct. I didnt have a 2nd person so took me about 4 hours taking breaks. So far so happy. This was the ng version.

I’m so glad I purchased my new grill!
I replaced a Genesis 320 propane grill that was at least 9 years on it. There was nothing wrong with the grill except I had a natural gas hookup that I wasn’t using and using the tanks along with the amount of cooking I did , every night wasn’t pactical. So I went with the SS 430 which was larger and hotter and natural gas. I’m so glad I did this the dear feature is great the grill gets hotter and with the large size I can cook more. It’s great I’m looking forward to another 11 years with this grill I love it. BTW I looked at the Summit but it was too large and costly for my needs this was perfect . Great Value!

GREAT GRILL !!!
The Genesis II S-435 Natural Gas Grill is everything you would expect from a Weber. Consistent temperatures across the cooking surface, easy cleanup with the stainless, and holds temperature throughout those longer roast cooks, where it is so important.
Only disappointment was the iGrill system I added to it. When it comes to temperature monitoring, this system falls way short in the Bluetooth department. Pairing is tricky, but once paired it works fine, until half way through the cook it has disconnected, and is suddenly telling you to change the brand new batteries.
Absolutely a five star grill.....not so much on the iGrill.

Better than my previous Weber propane grill
For some reason this grill heats up much faster than my older Weber propane grill. It gets up to temperature in 5 minutes and will keep climbing if not turned down. So it will take some getting use to for the foods that I cook on it. Have yet to try the temperature probes or side burner. My impression without measurement is that the sheet metal is thinner than the old one but still expect that it will hold up well. The cooking grates appear to be the same as the old unit and the overall cooking surface is larger. I was expecting to get some low level of odor from the natural gas while cooking but did not detect anything like some others have suggested.

My first Texas Brisket!
My wife gave me the grill for Christmas, and I immediately rotisserie’d a prime rib which was amazing so I set me sights higher a few days latter. I have been talking about trying to cook a Texas style brisket so I also purchased the smoker box. After 15 hours of cooking and discovering what a amazing grill it was I cooked a 14 lb. brisket. The grill is out right amazing it is so easy to regulate heat and cooks evenly, it is even a breeze to clean. We have already started talking about our next adventure, smoked salmon on cedar plank. I downloaded the app and it has some amazing recipes, can’t wait to give them a try.

Best Grill I Ever Owned
I purchased the Weber Genesis II Gas Grill (Natural Gas) to replace a Vermont Castings grill that had seen better days. The Weber is perfect in all aspects. It has an easily cleaned grilling surface. The manual with suggested grilling times for many different meats and vegetables is spot on for the preparation of perfect meals. The grilling surface can easily accommodate four racks of baby back ribs, enough to feed a very large family. It is clear from this purchase that buying a grill from a manufacturer that specializes in grills is superior to buying from one that does grills on the side.

Big, powerful and beautiful!
Bigger than what I needed, but what the heck! Extra cooking space is great for smoking/indirect heat, which can be tough on a smaller grill. The searing station is awesome to get a quick, carmelized crust on steak and chops before moving them to a cooler section to slowly come to temp. And, hooking it up to a natural gas line saves the hassle of propane tanks going empty half way through cooking a meal, or going to the gas station to exchange/refill the tanks. I wouldn't trade down to a smaller or cheaper grill ever!
