Description
Cette sécheuse au gaz Amana offre une grande capacité de 7,4 pi³, vous permettant de faire la lessive en moins de brassées, ce qui représente une économie de temps et d'argent. Elle utilise un système de séchage par capteur qui détecte l'humidité et ajuste le temps de séchage afin de prévenir le séchage excessif. L'appareil offre également un cycle d'assainissement qui élimine 99,9 % des bactéries domestiques courantes, ainsi qu'une option de séchage Eco Dry qui utilise moins de chaleur et allonge la durée du cycle afin d'utiliser moins d'énergie. Laissez la sécheuse vous guider à choisir le bon programme, ou à personnaliser jusqu'à 36 réglages de votre propre choix pour obtenir l'entretien optimal pour le type de tissus que vous séchez. Certifiée Energy Star, elle comprend une garantie limitée d'un an sur les pièces et la main-d'oeuvre.

Amana makes two dryers. This one would be the more fancy model. I was going to go for the lower-end model but noticed this is an energy start certified unit. It is gentle on your clothes but gets them dry in under an hour. It's bulkier than a standard until but you can make up that space by stacking it with the sister washer unit. One thing, if you are planning to use this in a basement and stacking the units, check your ceiling height. The unit is taller than average.
Check your state, this should come with a rebate for the energy star cert. Overall, I would recommend the dryer. If I come across any issues I will update this review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Too difficult to operate
Dryer is nice and roomy. I had difficulty getting the dryer to turn on after the tech. left. There is no number to call when you run into issues when they occur. If you open the door before the cycle ends, the dryer goes into standby..doest say how long. There are no instructions in the manual to assist with bypassing the standby so that you can move on with conpleting they drying of your items. Hopefully my clothes will not get a sour smell where I will have to wash them again.. I will see about returning this one. What's the use of having a nice dryer when you still have to hang your clothes on a clothesline to dry.

A Blast from my past!
I needed new washer and dryer so looking at all the makes became very confusing, but after looking at many different models the word Amana came into my mind and brought back memories of my youth when my mother had Amana products, now I know this might not be the best way to pick a dryer and washer, but I'm so happy now after two months both being front loader which was new to me, I can not be happier with my laundry results and of course the price was very reasonable considering such a great product.
