What decorating trends stand out at this time of year?

Wellness and decor that make us feel good continue to be a strong trend, but we’re taking things to the next level to create a cozy cocoon for the colder seasons. We achieve this by playing with colours, curved shapes, organic materials, and textures, but above all... with house plants! Indeed, they add a beautiful energy to the room while offering a precious contact with nature. Plants also add a touch of colour to any decor!

No green thumb? No problem. We have a selection of artificial plants to suit all tastes and budgets.

What are your favourite colours at the moment?

There are 3 paint trends that I like to explore in the fall and that we’re seeing a lot of right now:

  • Bright, warm colours, such as pastel shades, to offset the fewer hours of sunshine are always a good choice.
  • You can also be daring and choose darker colours to create a mysterious, moody atmosphere.
  • Finally, we’re letting nature in even more with natural colours, such as shades of green and earthy tones.

In any case, colours are a great way to add personality to the space! Gone are the days of all-white walls and cold, monochrome decors.

Buying Paint Online Is Easy!

Use our online Colour Selector by SICO to choose the perfect shade, then order online. Our team will create the chosen shades and you’ll be able to pick up your order in a few hours at the selected store!

How do you suggest adding these colours to the decor?

Here are a few painting ideas to inspire you to freshen up the decor and make your space as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

To give character to the decor, paint is applied in blocks of colour with different volumes and proportions. The harmonized shades on the wall and the customized furniture from the Cubïk range create a soft contrast.

Colourful dining room

Stylish, Friendly Dining Room

For this room, I chose a warm, enveloping colour that lifts the mood and stimulates the appetite: paprika red. The fluted wall panels painted in a neutral colour offset the bright shade of the wall to achieve the perfect balance. It’s a simple way to add character and a trendy touch to this welcoming space.

Home office with a green accent wall

Work-Inspiring Office Space

To bring this stunning accent wall to life, all you have to do is define zones of colour with a brush and roller. These colourful sections make the furniture stand out and energize the decor while giving it personality. In an office, you’ll want as much storage as possible: open for our books, plants, and decor items, and closed to hide the clutter.

Kids Bedroom with Playful Mural

Reminiscent of an abstract landscape, this pastel mural encourages creativity while adding a playful touch to the space. To add texture and effect, feel free to play with paint finishes. In addition to giving rhythm to the decor, the different finishes offer beautiful colour variations depending on the ambient light. If you prefer curved shapes, you can also opt for painted arches
