Vortex Radial Drywall Sander with Pole - 9 Pieces is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Professional DRYWALLER I've got one of these I actully modified it. I replaced the old nut with a nylon lock nut and med lock tight. I also put a metal washer with a hole just big enough to fit a replaced screw. Then put it on top of the plastic washer. I've used this for every job I've done for 2 years. If there break like these other guys are saying there pushing to hard. I also found a pad that works with it to. This is NOT junk. Ya the screw set up need lock tight. Absolutely 1 of the if not the best round sander I've ever used. DON'T listen do these other reveiws. There not pro's who use the tool everyday for hrs on end using it properly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Head loosened and fell off within an hour! I saw this pole sander used on YouTube what an awesome idea but ultimately its a low cost low quality product that doesn't holdup. If there was a heavy duty version I'd be all over it. I think the concept is great but some improvements are needed before the product will stand up to normal use. I have to wonder if the original design was cost reduced to make it more attractive from a cost perspective.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useless without replacement pads Works much better than rectangular sanders, BUT lowes does not carry replacement sanding disc. So when the 6 sanding disc included are used up you must spend another 30$ for pole with 6 disc, that's not worth it. What a shame as I was very happy using it, good quality, there is a wing nut that must be tightened or the head will fall off, kind of a no brainer though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke in 10 minutes. I bought this to sand a room I had to skim coat with joint compound. The rotation of the sanding wheel made it very easy to get into the corners along the ceiling and down the walls. I was happy for 10 minutes, then the sanding wheel feel off. The axel of the sanding wheel is a screw and the only thing holding the wheel onto the screw is the screw head. That's no where near enough surface area and the screw head pull out of the wheel. I peeled back the pad on the sanding wheel and put a fender washer onto the screw, but now there's a small high spot at the screw head. The whole thing is going back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from cheap junk Purchased one of these in Michigan. The head broke off the second day. Figured it was a fluke. Picked up two more while on a job in indiana this month. One head busted off within the first 10 minutes. The other one lasted 4 or 5 days. These are J-U-N-K.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than any product out there. This is a good buy. It's better than the traditional sanding sticks on the market. Cuts sanding time down and no need to drench yourself in therapeutic muscle cream afterwards like others out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pole Hand Sander I thought it would harder to work with due to the increased sanding area but I found little difference. I love it. I think they should add an extendable handle.
