Take That, Cat!
I have tiny wires (like a cellphone charger) that I don't want to constantly put away to keep my two cats from biting in the middle of the night. Regular, commercial corrugated split-tubing is usually 38" across. That is bulky in comparison to the wires I was trying to protect. This 1/4-.170 is precisely the size of the cellphone charger wires, and easily bends without kinking the wire inside. To get the wires to fit inside the tubing, I use an x-acto knife, slide the tip into the tubing and draw the tubing past the blade. And, the tubing is tough enough the cats can't bite through it and damage the charger wires..

clear vinyl tubing
The watts 1/4 inch clear vinyl tubing is a good quality product for my application.
The only down side is the packaging.
The tubing is coiled up and a foot or more of a super sticky tape is wrapped tightly around the coil for packing.
It leaves a very hard to remove gluey smear all over the outside that gets all over your hands!
Stop using this tacky clear tape and use a twist tie (like on a loaf of bread)!
Cheaper, better and re-useable to keep unused coil wrapped up!

The hose blows off with water pressure.
We hook it to the fridge water line and when we turn the water on to the fridge it blows off and leaks.
