Description

Tosot's portable heated air conditioner can keep your home cool, warm and dry thanks to the air conditioner, heater and dehumidifier. The 13,500 BTU cooling power keeps a room up to 550 m² cool and comfortable. The 3 speeds of cooling, heating and ventilation, as well as the 4-way air direction, distribute the air evenly throughout the room. WiFi is an ideal device to control and monitor the climate of your home with your smartphone or other device connected to the IFTTT platform. The programmable thermostat allows you to adjust the level of cold or heat for optimal comfort in summer and winter. The dehumidifier can remove moisture from the air.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Therejustnow from More good than bad for sure. There are so many things to like about this unit. I have owned several portable units over the years, but the features and low noise make this one stand out. Even on the highest setting I find this unit very quiet. I have an 8000 btu that on the lowest setting is 10x louder than this one. You can literally feel the cold air across the room and the auto feature works great. I’m away from home now so I set it for a higher temperature to keep the place somewhat comfortable through the heat wave. But before I left I noticed that it made “decisions” as to whether it should blow cold air or function as a dehumidifier. The place felt so comfortable and I had to check sometimes that it was running because it would lower the fan speed accordingly. All things said, I love this unit despite the fact that one of the main reasons I purchased this one is because of the remote access, functions flaky at best. I am away now and over the last 2 days I’ve only been able to access the unit twice, both times it timed out. I remotely accessed other devices in my home thinking it could be the internet, but everything else was fine and the internet up time was 9 days. The app will not tell you the current conditions in you home, just what the init is set for, if you can get it. Either way, a good “set it and forget it” machine that costs less than my 8000 btu to operate. Oh and FYI, I’ve seen other reviews for other units where people complain about the short hose that exhausts to the window. According to almost every manufacturer that I researched this about, it’s that length for a reason. Although you can buy longer hoses and add on extensions but it causes more resistance on the machines and will shorten the life span and void warranties. I do find, however, that this units hose is about a foot longer than the others I’ve had.
