Snips and scissors are manual cutting tools designed for precision work. Their narrow, pointed blades are useful for working in tight spaces and focusing on a single wire or tube where many are clustered together. Many all-purpose snips feature coated handles to provide a secure, comfortable grip, which also allows for generating greater leverage. Additionally, aviation snips have colour-coded handles to designate the direction of their cut. These also may have measurement markings along the blade for increased precision. Use these along with all-purpose knives and other cutting tools in many projects.
