quelle coté en haut et quelle en bas

Asked by: farouk
Contrary to 1st reply, instructions say slots facing down. I did install them facing up and feel it's a better result.

Est-ce que le côté rainuré en diagonale se place en-dessous ou à l’air libre?

Recycled Rubber Stair Tread is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stair tread puts end to slipping on wet decks Made from recycled tires, this is a great product to use on decks and steps, especially in the winter. It's a tough 1/2 inch thick and has grooves cut in the surface to channel out water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good on the knees I have a basement that has exposed stairs. I live in Washington and it is usually wet outside. I often was scared of slipping. I bought the tread mat to see how it would work. You just put it on the step. Not only does it grab the concrete stairs, it was easy on my knees and feet. I will be buying one for each step.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used this as mudflaps for my Explorer! I used two of these to make 4 mudflaps for my lifted Ford Explorer. Standard mudflaps were not long enough or wide enough to do any good after I lifted my truck. I cut each one in half and had 18x10 pieces that make excellent flaps. Heavy weight so they do not flap around. Secured with stainless bolts/washers/nuts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love These for for Deck Steps I purchased some of these, primarily for traction, at our local Lowe's store last fall. As suggested by the salesman, I put the ridged side down to allow air between the rubber and my deck. They stay in place incredibly well, without the need for glue on the bottom. Not only did they provide the traction I needed, but they are protecting my steps from the elements and from my dogs' deep claw scratches. And, after 8 months of abuse from two dogs that regularly fly across the deck and down the steps, these mats have shown absolutely no wear and tear. They look great. I'm ordering more to use on other areas of the deck that need protection. These are definitely worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase I bought 2 of these stair treads for the steps on my wooden deck. The previous week I took a tumble when the steps were frosty in the morning. These are heavy and stay put when you walk on them. They also prevent sliding and falling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent safety product My wife and I have always wanted something to make our concrete steps safer to walk on - especially when wet. These treads work great and are very reasonably priced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome stair tread This was just what I needed for the step that is located for in the garage entry door to our home. I used some double back tape on the back tape of the mat. This made the installation solid and secure. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product!!! I could have used two more of these mats for my front of house stairs. However, store personnel informed me that this product is discontinued.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NO slipping! Have you ever slipped on wooden porch stairs? It's not fun! These wonderful study stair treads keep steps safe. They have special ridges on the bottom of them that stick ---even during heavy rain, snow or ice! The top surface has a molded pattern that allows one to feel secure - no slipping! I recommend these simple safe study stair treads for any stair that gets winter wet weather!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from rubber stinks and warps in sun, ices in winter bought this about 1.5 yrs ago and the rubber stinks in the heat and warps them. In the winter the ice builds up on top so they are slippery. Water also gets under them, so the wood step rots If they were longer ie. 36 inches this would not happen. Not practical at all
