Table Saw - 15A - Carbide-Tip 10" is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 812.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have for Woodworkers on a Budget. I just bought one of these...took a while to get together. dont bother with instructions, go to you tube. I think this will run up against any high dollar saw...well around the 600 dollar area...it cuts smooth, everything is solid even with a bunch of plastics. I was really concerned with the fence because I make quite a few cutting boards and ran a test piece...measured it...spot on. The only downfall is the miter...its loose so definitely recommend a slide. Other than that it's great. I do recommend very highly if you're looking for a good saw on a budget and still want quality work. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A+++ for DIY While what previous reviews said about the fence was true (you have to align both sides before locking down), remember this a $279 table saw, not $600+. I use a commercial Jet table saw at work and sometimes you have to tweak the back part of the fence too. It only takes about 5-10 seconds to line up the back fence and lock it down. Functionality, quality are amazing for the price. Kobalt nailed it with this one. For a DIY this table saw is worth EVERY penny, and worth spending the extra hundred on. Cut my 10mm laminate like nothing was there, using the blade it came with. Not to mention it folds up out of the way, and is easily transportable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Value I have shied away from the "Store Brand" tools in the past, but after looking at the features and of course the price I went with this saw. I have read the previous reviews and have found the complaints about the fence not found. With any equipment precise measurements should be done by hand. The saw can handle up to a 30" rip which is the best feature. The stand folds and un-folds with ease rolls on hard rubber tires and there is a place to hold all accessories including blades. I have found the kobalt blades reliable and of quality, no need to run out and replace it. I will be looking at more KOBALT tools in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It has been very good overall, Very pleased. We did a recent purchase and have been finishing off our mud-room. Have been putting up shiplap and framing. The ease of moving it around and folding it up has been fantastic. We have split, cut 8 ft lenghts and cut angles with a great deal of ease. The saw is easy to adjust. Have no real complaints. I dont really have anything else to compare to as we had a really really old radial arm saw before this and after some consideration this is what we choose to get. We do a lot of our own home and barn repairs, but it is not our daily job. So far we are very pleased with it with our choice for the price. Should be able to do alot for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kobalt 15-Amp 10-in Carbide-Tipped Table Saw I needed a table saw to install some laminate flooring, and narrowed it down to two--this one, and a DeWalt. The DeWalt had the same specifications and warranty, but didn't come with a table, and was made in China. This one came with a table, was made in Taiwan (NOT the same as China), had the same 3-year warranty, and was $80 cheaper! Need to move the saw? Just press on the lever with your foot, and the table moves really easy. It locks in place just as fast. I gave it four stars because the housing is made of plastic, and the fence needs adjusting on both sides to make the cut parallel to the blade. But for the price point, it's a winner!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Almost great This covered most of the specs I was looking for. 15 AMP, 10 inch, 30 inch rip to the right, folding - rolling stand. It was pretty easy to assemble and very easy to folded and unfold. The one thing that knock the rating down was the rip fence. It SHOULD be on gears that keep the front and back edges square. I realized in the first cuts that I had to use a small speed square to ensure the back on the fence was square with the front. I had a dewalt table saw fro 20 years, it just died and this is what I replaced it with. 5 = Potability 5 = Large rip area to the right. 5 = 3.25 tall cut. 3 = Poor rips fence design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good saw, but there is a major design flaw with it I like the Kobalt products and bought this table saw for the features it has and the price is a lot less for comparable ones. The saw works like it should, but there is a major design flaw. There is a wing type nut to adjust and remove the saw guard and even at the highest setting, where you are supposed to adjust it or remove it, it is VERY close to a piece of sheet metal right next to it. If you aren't careful, when you turn the knob to loosen it you will turn your finger right into the sheet metal and slice it open. I sliced my middle finger open to the bone on the first day while I was putting it together. Not fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding! I have been looking at getting this table saw for well over two years. One of the reasons I didn't get it sooner was twice it was sold out and only available for delivery which was cost discouraging. Finally I got it several months ago and had to wait a week to have time to use it. I got a finer blade since I wanted to minimize wasted wood. It is definitely worth the price to say the least. It does a great job and it cleans up easily as well as stores nicely. The edges are spot on. It cuts great clean angles which joint nicely. I'm content with the purchase and Lowe's is making up the difference in lumber sales.
