Dont waste your money on this cheap simer pump!!
job at hand was to drain 6 inches of rain water when needed in a small crawl space entrance. It lasted 10 minutes and the gasket popped out the side. i purchased this for a friend as that was their budget. I read the reviews but it was only going to be a temporary drain situation and figured it cant be that bad. a 3/4 inch garden hose 8 feet long was attached and should be more than adequate based on the specs.
there were no obstructions so back pressure was not the issue. The only issue is if you like to waste money than go ahead and try this pump but you will see that its a total failure and does not
meet its own specifications. This pump was a replacement for a competitors version of this pump which apparently lasted 2 years. returning it will probably not even happen due to most stores during covid-19 wont do returns etc so save yourself alot of wasted time and money and purchase something more expensive to do the job at hand.

After purchasing, I used it twice and it stopped working. I returned it to the store and exchanged if for a new one. Used this new one once and it stopped working as well. It does not suck up the water which is very disappointing especially since I really needed it. It is being returned and I will not get another one
