Perfect for 1/2” rebar holes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drill bit made quick work when I needed to drill 13 holes through railroad ties. Some holes were through one but I made several through two ties. Bit never dulled and worked great. Did need to occasionally pull the bit out to remove debris but I wouldn’t call that a flaw just a fact of life when drilling down vertically.

Long drill bit
I used this drill bit to go through three 2x4’s that were part of a top plate in my home in order to install an electric wire for a new outlet. The bit was long enough to accomplish this and cut through easily. Very pleased.

Excellent Wire Pulling Drill Bit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I had run across this drill bit years before when I was re-configuring TV/electronic cables and wires in another house. It was perfect for drilling through both the drywall and wood and was long enough go through wall and doorway headers simultaneously. Attaching smaller wires or a pull string to the drill was painless. Recommend using the hole on the drill side vice the shank to attach the wire/pull string to make the pulling easier.

Great improvement from older design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous bit constantly blinded while drilling it seemed the previous design the shaft was the same diameter as the bit and just did not allow any debris to flow
Made my project (drilling holes for rebar through double 6x6) easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this to drill through our living room wall to the exterior wall of our house to run a cable through. This tool was able to easily connect to the drill and went through the wall with no issues.

Works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never been disappointed by an Irwin project. I used it to bore some holes in a plank of pine I am using for hidden shelves. Needed extra depth and this did the trick! No issues!
