Stadler Form Roger Air Purifier - HEPA Filter is rated
Rated 3 out of
gorgeous design, can be loud, lousy warranty
Keep in mind that this review is based on product just out of box and plugged in.
I have not had it long enough to judge performance. Bought this because of good reviews. Seems to be a newer offering in the purifier market and design is quite nice. It may not have wifi app or remote, but the whole design is minimalist, with display buttons that dim after 10 seconds, and night modes so they are not distracting. Auto mode detects air quality and adjusts fan speed. Speeds 1-3 are barely noticeable. 4 and 5 however, are fairly loud, but not loud in the sense of the unit making noise but rather due to whooshing of air because it is sucking in significant air to purify it. Too early to tell how well it works in terms of overall air and how will moderate odours when cooking for example. A major con when you compare to competitors, is the 1-year warranty and the fact that they expect you to keep both layers of boxes, send it back at your expense, and include a money order for US$15 for returning it repaired. Others offer 3 and 5 year warranties. 1-year is not great. For this reason, the fact that fan settings 4 and 5 are fairly loud, and the fact that the prefilter was somewhat warped (not sure if an issue or not yet) I have docked it one star. If I could, I would give 3.5. If performance is good, I might would likely lean to a 4 star review. Still not decided if I will keep it simply because, quite frankly, the warranty sucks.
