Better than Fluorescent
Expensive as compared to other T8 bulbs, not sure why - maybe quality? This was my first purchase of T8 LED bulbs. I purchased them to replace a burnt out e-ballast. Installation was very easy. Removed the ballasts and re-wired as per instructions. I'm very satisfied with the bulb and plan to purchase more of these for additional light fixtures. One thing to note, I purchased the non frosted type to install in my kitchen fixture which has a frosted cover.

Great alternative to fluorescent and CFL bulbs
Bought this bulb to replace a really noisy fluorescent ballast in my aquarium canopy. It was much cheaper to remove the old ballast and do a direct connect to this LED bulb. The fish and plants seem to love it.

Bright and Work Well. Skimpy Instructions
I bought these to replace T8s in a fixture that had already burnt through one ballast and was threatening to polish off another.
I might have given them a 5-star rating if they had come with any written instructions. Mine did not. I had to go from the schematics on the bulb itself, which, while adequate, certainly could baffle a DIYer unfamiliar with electrical wiring.
Basically installation consists of removing the ballast and configuring wiring so that both live and neutral travel to one end of the bulb. The other end becomes just a dummy holder.
The end result is very bright, and with the diffuser lens of the fixture installed, one can't really tell that there are LEDs inside. Be aware that the 5000K bulbs may be a bit blue for some locations/applications.
I have 16 more fixtures I would like to reconfigure for LED lighting, but I can't justify doing so at the current price of these. Hopefully, like most LED products these will become more reasonably priced in the near future.
