It's an easy install although the washer was extremely heavy, it's a two person job for sure. Have to admit, I wanted the pedestal mostly for cosmetic reason and storage, but at the end of the day, my back thanked me. You should go for it you'll love yours as well. I have included a picture to show you how pretty it looks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed new owner from Are you kidding me??? if all you want, is a something to look pretty and make your washer taller... buy it!!! but, if you want it to function like any other pedestal on the market, to hold your supplies... you’ll be disappointed. the drawer needs to be 1” taller, and i’d be happy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by cs2020 from Nice but not functionable very disappointed in height and functionality of unit. i replaced my old front load with a pedestal, where i stored all my laundry and cleaning supplies in. same ones do not fit this unit. now it' too late, because they are here and installed. ugh looks nice and it lifts the unit which is good, but if laundry detergent items an not be stored, what good is it. sad to think that on day 1 and i cant wait until it breaks and i get a new set, which probably will not be a samsung unless they change this .

If you use a washer that is both front load and top load it makes that washer about 7 inches taller than the dryer on the pedestal. Make sure you measure where you are going to put it also - I had to remove 2 cabinets just to be able to use the top load portion of washer. Also doesn't match up with front of the dryer if you put it against the wall. Plus the whole drawer crushed the minute we put the washer on it. Just turned out to be a big mess!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Skyler from Damaged on arrival really looked forward to these pedestals for our washer dryer combo. this is our second set of samsung washer and dryer and have had zero issues in the past. unfortunately samsung has dropped the ball big time on this one. we ordered these pedestals along with several other products. upon arriving the boxes were left until the washer and dryer arrived and were to be installed by samsung's installation contractor, sadly when the delivery company opened the boxes both pedestals were damaged beyond repair an unable to be used. i have contacted samsung customer service nearly a dozen times and spoken to more customer service and transferred more times than i care to mention. samsung told me that i would be contacted by a manager, this was nearly three weeks ago! nothin yet. 11/18/2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like them, but they aren’t deep enough to put detergent bottles in and not quite stable enough to keep the front load washer from walking during the spin cycle. Had to put down a rubber pad. I couldn’t use the brackets in my laundry room. If they hadn’t been 50% off I would be a lot more disappointed. I should have just built a platform.
