I'm wondering if there is any flex to the material as I'm looking for a product to use on slightly curved walls (in an Airstream trailer). Would it deflect say 2" across 24" without breaking?
All you have to do is cut some small channels, about 1/4" deep on the backside, every 2-3" inches. It should then curve easily.

Can this product be "glued" to the wall instead of using metal washers and tapcons?? Is there a glue that can be rolled onto the wall like paint and then apply the Roxul??
No. Read the fastener installation guidelines below.
1.MECHANICAL ATTACHMENT
For permanent attachment, ROXUL stone wool
(mineral wool) insulation should be
mechanically attached or pressure held by
supporting members.
2.ADHESIVES
Adhesives and adhesive applied stick-pins
should NOT be used for permanent attachment
of ROXUL stone wool insulation. Adhesives, and
adhesive based systems can be used for
temporary attachment, however for
permanent attachment ROXUL recommends
mechanical attachment (or supporting
members).

What kind of fasteners do I use to install comfortboard on exterior of 7/16 " OSB?
I want to insulate my basement wall with the wall section being: block; Comfortboard 80; stud wall with batt insulation; vapour barrier; drywall. Does the Ontario Code require a polyethylene sheet between the block and the Comfortboard 80?
how does rockwool comfortboard compare to rigid foam insulation?
What’s the R-value?
What is the size of 100mm thk mineral fibre board insulation
What is the compressive strength of this product? And can it be used as a thermal break between the rafters and the roof sheathing in an insulated roof?
Can I lay this on a dimpled plastic subfloor membrane snd lay engineered hardwood directly on top, in my basement?
Can I use this inside a furnace flue chase?
What is the R value per inch

Such a consistent and reliable product!!
There is nothing about this product that is not great! We have been working on building our school bus for the last 2 years and every time I buy a package of Roxul to install I look forward to the project. With tools as simple as a tape measure and a drywall knife or scissors you are on your way to a professional install. The only downside of this product is the fact people don't know what it is! I had a older man stop me in the parking lot of our local hardware store and explain that carrying a bag of Roxul insulation was going to make me itchy and miserable. I proceeded to correct him and explain how this product is the next generation of insulation products!

Makes sound absorption panels for noisy room
I put these 1 1/2" thick batts in 1x2 wood frames, covered them with interesting print fabric, and put them on the wall in my acoustically reflective living room. People say they notice the difference right away, no more "tunnel echo" effect for normal conversations. Lots of YouTube videos on doing this with different materials, but these are the exact size for cheap furring strip frames and they are easy to work with and cause minimal irritation when handling. Easy to work with!
We are doing a legal suite in our Edmonton home, Safe and Sound is being installed in all joist spaces and Comfort Batt Thermal is being installed on exterior walls. We don’t even have everything insulated yet and we have already notice a MASSIVE difference in temperature and noise dampening from upstairs. The extra cost to install Rockwool instead of regular fibreglass insulation was with out a doubt a great investment to our income property.

Extreme Fire Hazard Zone Protection
Our house is in the Wildland Urban Interface and the City has designated our site as "extreme" for fire hazard. Initially we were limited to a very few products for our house skin, none of which fit our project goals and aesthetic desires (high performance rain screen system). We found the Roxul products on-line, ordered samples, reviewed all the specs and presented our case to the local authority to demonstrate that the Roxul products would allow us to meet the exterior fire requirements by creating a break between the skin and the interior. In the end, the Roxul allowed us to be creative with our finish materials and shell. As far as we know, we are the first in our community to use the IS. Just as importantly, the Roxul won't grow mold or breakdown with moisture. The crew really enjoyed working with the product; easy to cut and didn't tear up their hands and arms or hurt their eyes. Roxul is on our list along other awesome products we found on our journey to present to the local sustainable building program committee. Oh yah, and not only does it provide the fire resistance, it provides excellent thermal performance. We used the batt in the walls on the interior and the IS on the walls and roof.

Have already done my sill plate -
I used Rockwool Batts R23 to insulate my entire sill plate of our basement myself at age 63. Glad Lowes also has this as this is next to do the cement walls in Is 80 then build out a free standing wall a ft or so out from the IS 80 foundation using pressure treated plate for the wall base and then reg. studs with then batts in the walls w/ Mag. Oxide wall board on top as no worries of paper absorbing water vapor. I want a breathable basement not a plastic covered sweatbox & Rockwool is a big part of that ticket! Thanks Lowes for carrying this!
