Will this insulation deter rodents?
Not at all. Rodents and raccoons love insulation and will easily turn it into a nest or carry away what they need for a nest. If it is exposed to either over time there will be a very strong urine (amonia) smell and feces. The only thing that will deter rodents is a sealed exterior envelope (exterior finish of your choice) that does not allow access between studs and making sure all doors are closed or have a screen door that prevents access to the interior of the house.

Am I correct that it comes in wrapped bundles of 3 bags of Roxul R22 16"? What are the rough dimensions of the bundles of 3 bags? I need to pick up 27 bags with my 14 foot trailer and have an hour of hwy. travel home.

Excellent Product
Used this product in a basement room renovation. I replaced old R 8 insulation and 2x3 framing. Product was easy to cut and fit. Used an old serrated knife as per instructions. This product is great for basement application as it is not affected by moisture. This room had always been cold in the past and with the roxul the room is now comfortable and warm.

Better Off with Fiberglass
First Time I've Used this material. Made the Purchase Online and Picked Up the Next Morning from Our Local Rona. These Guys are always Great. I Read the Cautionary Notes and Realized that I'd need an N95 Mask, Goggles and Long Sleeves and the Importance of Showering Once Your Finished. If I had it to do over, I'd have chosen Fiberglass which is so much Safer these Days AND its Less Money...
