Heavy-Duty Radio Charger - Electric or Cordless - 7.2 V-18 V is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Worksite Radio! I fretted over this purchase for some time. Seemed like a lot of money for a radio. My wife surprised me with this as a Christmas gift. I use this radio all the time now. My favorite feature is the fact that it runs for hours off a Dewalt 18V battery pack. I take this radio to the yard and it runs for hours on a battery back. Bring it into the garage at night and plug it in and it charges the battery ready for the next day. Aux in is nice for a MP3 player. The three outlets on the side are handy when it's on the end of an extension cord and you need to plug in a tool. All around a great radio and another quality product from DeWalt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving it all the way. I bought this radio about 3 weeks ago while remodeling a house. I'm getting at lest 12 hrs out a dewalt 18v battery playing the radio non stop, not real sure how much longer it will go but it's still loud and proud at the end of the day. It will be great during lake scenes or strapped on a back of a 4 wheeler. The protection rails keeps it safe and gives you plenty of options to bungee cording or wiring to almost anything. This little boom box should give anyone plenty of years of great tunes. It would be nice if it had a place to store a ipod or a phone on it but it gets great reception and has the plug in for your devices makes it very feasible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jams for the Work Day! I received this radio as a Christmas gift. Since the moment out of the box I have played it continuously for the entire month. As for the reception I have been working in a finished basement and noticed no interruption of radio signals or lack there of. The charger does magnificently well and gives my XRP 18v battery the life they need to keep the job flowing. The tunes are not at all affected by the power cord plugged in or while charging. The sound is great and what it should be for a job site. I highly recommend this product as it another great tool that I need to remain productive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just a radio The radio part is great, good sound and seems to pick up stations well in my area. I thought that for the price it should come with a Dewalt battery. I purchased one later. The unit does not store time or presets when it is turned off. Unplugged yes, not turned off. I thought maybe the coin battery was dead, so I replaced it. Same issue. Replaced it with a known good one, same. I didn't want to have to leave it on all the time, but oh well. The outlets all work good, AUX works good. I listen to internet radio with phone, and can charge the phone at the same time. This is a good feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice tool I bought this for military duty and for my ATV. So far I've achored it to my front rack on my utility ATV and took it for a ride. It sounded great even going down the road in the wind with a big loud ATV at 40 MPH AND it still had volume to spare. As far as reception goes I am picking up a station I use to listen to in the next state over. I have to drive my newer car at least 1.5 HRS to get that station. The buttons are very responsive. I think the tuner dial could be a little faster but scan works great. I love the fact that it is pluged into an extention cord charging my batteries, playing music, and providing me with more outlets than I started with. I figure it will be nice to have when I am in the timber cutting my wood for the winter. I've never owned a radio like this but I'm glad I do now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great! While it lasts.... Love this radio/charger, while it was working. Unfortunately, that's like asking 'other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?". I have a wide variety of DeWalt tools, and love them, They are sturdy, well built, and last - but not this radio. The entire radio/speaker system just stopped working one day, so now it is simply a very expensive battery charger. Of course, outside any warranty period. And it has not been abused/dropped/left in the rain or any such nonsense. Seems like I am not alone in having issues with this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great sound- if you can find decent reception I am a delivery driver and bought this to take with me on my route. The sound quality is very good, especially with the extra bass feature but radio reception is limited on the FM side and almost non-existent on the AM side. I even tried to replace the antenna with a better, more high powered one but it made no difference at all. Actually, it got the same reception with the antenna off as it did with it on!!! Makes me think the antenna is just there for looks and serves no relative function whatsoever. It DOES work well as a battery charger and seems to be very durable but a charger isn't this expensive. If I had it to do over again, I would have just bought a cheaper radio and maybe added on some good speakers.
