Quiet check valve
I did some search and found that there is such a thing as a quiet check valve. The price was a bit expensive but I wanted a quiet check valve. This Zoeller Thermoplastic Check Valve doesn’t just dampen the sound, it completely eliminates it. The design allows the water to move uniformly inside the pipes and the resultant is no more vibration of the pipe and no more noise or hammer bang. The spring is stainless steel I check with a magnet before installation.
Tip before installation, use a silicon adhesive or PVC adhesive between the robber sleeve and Thermoplastic valve and then install the rubber sleeve clamp. I had a bit of water drops in the top area. I had to put extra clamp to prevent leak. This only until next time I have time to fix it.
Don’t hesitate to buy this Zoeller Thermoplastic Check Valve if you were like me and getting really annoyed when your sump pump startles you with a hammer bang and pipe vibration I will recommend these Zoeller Thermoplastic Check Valve. At first I did not believe but now I believe that you can buy a quiet check valve. Good luck to everybody.

Wow amazing this check vavle is so quiet you almost forget you have a sump pump.
Highly recommend to anyone who wants a very quiet check valve. All you hear is your sump pump motor turning on and off which is very quiet as well..

Working Well
The previous check valve was failing on the sump pump. Water was leaking back through it into the tank. This one so far is quieter. I like that I can see through the valve to make sure it is working.
