Burns hot when the vents are wide open but also holds lower temperatures nicely as well. Leaves clean, dry ash. Best part: It is one of the VERY few charcoals I have used that did not include rocks, cement, and other construction debris. You buy charcoal by weight, and, in this case, you get what you paid for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ian1267 from Absolute Junk Thought I would give it a try, I normally use Kamado Joe Big Block or Jealous Devil....this is the stuff you would normally find in the bottom couple of inches of these other bags, pieces are tiny absolutely no good for long cooks. Save your money avoid this product.
