Finally got it to connect to my phone.
Had issues connecting the unit via wifi to the app TuyaSmart due to the fact I had the unit blinking fast rather than slow. After the app prompts you to enter your wifi password it then asks to set the light on the unit to flash slow. Not realizing the unit was on the fast flash, it would not connect to my phone. This seems elementary but the instructions are vague and it might be why some people can not connect. To get the slow flash you need to plug the unit in, press the power button once to get the blue light to come on, then press and hold the power button until the light flashes fast and then press and hold again until it flashes slow. Then the app finds the units wifi and connects. After that a person needs to play around to figure out the scheduling. I like the fact that it can adjust the schedule according to sunrise and sunset. I ran a few tests with it in the house but I have not yet used this device to run my outdoor yard lights and may have to do another review if there are more issues.

Worst smart plug EVER
Had the product for a year and had to change the WiFi and just will not find the device after rest. Struggle to connect when first set up. So going to bin it. Absolute junk. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. BUY ANOTHER BRAND

Xtricity Smart Outdoor 3 plug Switch
This is great: I can plug in my 3 sets of Christmas lights in this one smart plug/timer and operate from inside. Plus it was on sale for $19.99. The app took a few tries to pair with the device ("smart wifi plug") but I kept at it until it worked. Follow the instructions in the Tuya APP.

Love it!
I bought this to use with my Christmas lights so I didn’t have to remember to turn them on/off. After I got it set, I was able to turn them on manually or let them come on automatically and they would shut off each night automatically! No going outside! Ended up buying a second one!

Great outdoor timer
I bought a couple of these last weekend...great price! Setup instructions could be better but not unlike anything else that hooks up to wifi. I love turning my Christmas lights on and off through the App from anywhere! Brilliant!!

Fonctionne à merveille sur 2.5 Ghz seulement
Après beaucoup d'essai... finalement j'ai compris qu'il faut aller dans les paramètres de votre router dans mon cas Bell Hub 3000, annuler le 5 Ghz et laisser sur le 2.5 Gz. ensuite après connection remettre le 2.5 et 5.0 Ghz.

Quick and easy startup is a joke.
Where is this blinking light you write about? How do you make it blink. And why does it fail to connect?
You have to be a computer technical wizard to hook this up. Time to get a refund!

Je voulais quelque chose qui puisse contrôler mes lumières extérieurs d'Halloween et de Noël pour l'hiver. J'ai essayé pour mes décos d'Halloween et ça fonctionne super bien! L'installation est aussi très user friendly.

Connects as easily as any other wifi adapter I use. Connected with Smart Life app. Instructions we're hidden between the cardstock layers of the packaging which was a poor choice. Up and running, working as expected.

Good for Outdoor Christmas Lights
Extremely frustrating to setup. Took me over an hour to get it to sync with my phone. Once it did though it seems to be quite handy. Set a schedule for the lights to go on and off. working well.

The set up instructions are horrible, but once set up works ok. Has a schedule timer feature for on/off, which I like, and connects to Google Home for voice control, if wanted.
