Rated 1 out of 5 by from What Happened??? Been using this snips for 15+ yrs never had an issue. Got a brand new set and broke the first day. First the center bolt was loose. Then the casting broke. Everyone on the job had the same thing happen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had had a very old version like these, which had become tired and corroded. These work beautifully and are very comfortable to grip. I use them to trim roof flashing in building houses for Habitat For Humanity. Habitat is having a break right now, so I can't provide photos yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pair of Snips [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Crescent metal master snips cut like butter! The handles are comfortable and the first finger and second finger notches help maintain control while cutting. I made both left and right cuts without too much effort and did not leave any jagged edges. I think the lock coming from the bottom upward instead of down from the top will prevent it from being broken like some I've had before.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tremendous Reliability [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pair of tin snips about a month ago and was able to really work it over the holidays. I do a lot of DIY projects and a versatile pair of snips like this is useful for more than just sheet metal. I’ve used these to snip heavy duty staples on boxes and pallets, open the crazy plastic packaging of new tolls and accessories, and even to snip back some thin all thread (6-32). Very impressed with the usefulness of this simple, timeless pair of snips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Grip [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good Snips I do wish it was a little more angled for cutting all the way through sheet metal. I am an HVAC professional and have to cut sheet metal from time to time. I mostly prefer to cut with straight snips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cut like a hot knife throught butter!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these out on a piece of 16gauge galvanized tin and they cut curves and straight great. Very litle force needed. My hands are arthritic and these worked very well. No pain afterwards. I would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still made like they used to make 'em [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This snip is what you need. Simple, straightforward, solid, reliable, and well-made. You can't argue with it's heritage or pedigree - Wiss snips have been at the top of the heap for many years with their timeless construction and function, and these are no different. Sharp edges, tight pivots, a good grip, no burrs or other defects. I haven't yet cut 8 miles of steel, so I can't tell you they'll hold up to years of professional use, but I don't see these giving up any time soon. If you are debating between these or a pair of knockoffs you'll find from your favorite internet supplier, don't hesitate and get these. Heck, these are probably even cheaper than the other ones and these are made in the USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super smooth! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked these snips up a few weeks ago for a project I was working on, and they were just what I needed! They are versatile allowing for multi-directional cutting, as well as sharp for clean crisp cuts. Absolutely fantastic!
