Will this planter hold up in the Ontario winter without splitting or cracking? Thanks.
The liner in this planter cracked due to frost. I suggest putting the entire planter in storage in early autumn.

Is the interior hollow or just room to plant flowers?
There is a plastic insert that is about 25cm deep, and the rest of the space below is hollow. The insert has no drainage holes, but those are easy to make with a drill. Water would escape below through the woven material.

Well proportioned but needs ballast
We bought three of these a few years ago. They've held up extremely well, even being exposed to cold Winnipeg winters. My one bit of advise is that they are top heavy because the planter insert is only about one-third the depth of the whole planter. So to keep them from constantly falling over in the wind (especially if you plant something tall in them) you will need to put some kind of ballast in the bottom. A plastic bag filled with water works great. Otherwise, they elevate your plants nicely to just below table height.
