How does the Honeywell Lyric C2 Wi-Fi Security Camera record? So I do not need to sign up for a monitoring fee to store footage recorded, it saves footage to a free cloud storage?? Do you also have a Lyric camera that will work if mounted outside??
Is the C1 camera only able to connect to a 2.4 Ghz network?

Works OK
Bought 2 on sale, one for each level of our home. Very easy to install with app and have had online for about a week. No additional fees (so far). Great at detecting noise & motion. Unfortunately, it appears to detect the switch to night mode also as motion. Notifications to mobile work great (sometimes too many due to dogs!), as does live feed. But biggest disappointment is quality of video - expected better from HD 1080p but I guess the wide angle lens waters it down. Debating on buying 2 more for our shop, but will be waiting for next sale!
