This reverse osmosis replacement membrane from Whirlpool fits the WHAROS5, WHAPSRO and WHER25 systems. It reduces many contaminants to provide bottled water quality water right at your kitchen sink for a fraction of the cost. Designed for use with municipal and private well water supplies. This system is certified to reduce numerous contaminants including chlorine and odours, sediments, cysts, lead, chemicals, and dissolved solids. LASTS LONGER THAN YOU MAY THINK...
If you have city water...and are using a water softener - this filter will last 2 or more years! I am at almost 2 years now and the water pressure is the same...I changed the pre-sediment filters after a year as you will notice the water pressure drop. If you have well water or dont have a water softener...I would recommend getting a cheap Whole House filter system. Great product and guess what...Lowes price is cheaper than online stores!

Very Good Product
I like this water's taste and quality after going in to the system/filters, out and ready for consumption. Product it is more expensive then I think it should be, but if you like a safe, good quality tasting water in your house ready for drink anytime you need it and care about you and your family health this is it!

One of my best purchases ever!
I purchased the original WHER25 Under Sink Osmosis Filter System from Lowe's. I now purchase the replacement filters for the unit from Lowe's. These filters are unbelievably easy to change. Over the years I have purchased many of these replacement filters from Lowe's, both in-store and online for in-store pickup and the Customer Service has always been excellent.

Expensive Replacement Filter
This filter is supposed to be replaced every year, it's a little pricey for that kind of replacement, but this time we waited 2 years. We didn't see any difference in water taste or purity. Filter change out is relatively easy.

it works well when it works.
The filters don't last as long as advertised and they are expensive to replace - Almost $100 for all three
When it's work as it should then there are no issues. Like the storage tank to be bigger as we run out on occasions
Other than that it's fine

It was a reasonably priced
I went out of the country for 4 1/2 weeks and therefore this filtering unit was not used at all while I was gone. I wish that the unit would warn me gallon wise when the R.O. filter needs changing instead of alerting me time wise.
The unit was programmed to beep 6 months after the installation; in reality only after 4 3/4 months usage.
The beeping alert was annoying,
