Rated 3 out of 5 by Grayson44 from Ok, but not likely to recommend We've only had this a week, so I may raise the rating after getting used to it, but am not overwhelmingly impressed. Pros: QUIET cooking (the reason we chose this model) - 4 fan levels - good lighting feature Cons: - The "buttons" take some getting used to. They only respond if you push firmly in the exact middle of the number or cooking option. - There are a lot of specialized cooking options, but it takes so long to get to an exact option that we have found it easier to simply set a cooking time based on past experience and guesswork. - No choice between 4-5 very loud beeps when food is done or no sound at all - Takes considerably longer to heat a cup of water than our old GE model even though they are the same power level - Have never had a "fingerprint resistant" model before so maybe I am expecting too much, but haven't found anything about this one that resists fingerprints even though it advertised as such. This sits in the indirect sunlight much of the day and it shows fingerprints every bit as much as the plain old black model it replaced.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kevin from Could have been a 5 start, if only ! Cons: I wonder why when all other models have the weight unit choice of LB/Kg, how on earth does this model not have that! Any why is lights do weak?! The inside light is so darn dimmed that with the dark interior walls I can hardly see anything going on inside. So what's the point of having a light inside, if nothing is going to be visible?! Same goes for the incandescent (why?) over range lamp which I see two problems with: 1) it could have been LED and brighter, 2) wish the 3 step dim was not a cycle I had to go through every time I want to turn it off. Pros: We bought this microwave with the hope that it would be good, and honestly so far it has not disappointed us in performance. The handleless face design also helps avoiding those nasty mudges on the stainless steel surface. Since all controls are on the glass surface, cleaning is very easy. Also needless to say how good it looks!

Not only was it easy to install, but it looks very modern and functions like a quiet dream. Even the signal to notify you when the cooking was done is pleasant! Very much worth the investment. The black stainless color is absolutely beautiful!

Interior finish easy to clean and looks great. ONLY one small issue, the START button IS NOT labeled START - instead labeled 30+ . The confusing issue is the owners manual refers to a START button. This was a head scratcher when first using - but soon adapted. Hey Whirlpool - add a simple graphic that states... START This would make the unit so much more intuitive.

I was used to a button marked start.. challenged..used to a handle to pull door open not to pull door from the side.. just took getting used to..I don’t like not being able to see inside while in use the front glass is dark..

I can use the timer and and cook at the same time which I couldn’t do with my last microwave. Easy to clean exterior and love the grey interior. The large tray sticks out a little too far at the front but just have to get used to that to avoid bumping plates on it.
