This Whirlpool counter-depth will fit flush with your cabinets and will be a great addition to any kitchen. The refrigerator features a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel exterior with beautiful French doors. It is equipped with an exterior water and ice dispenser that includes the EveryDrop filtration technology, for pure and fresh water and ice without needing to open the doors. This appliance also offers a fast cool option which quickly lowers the refrigerator's temperature with the push of a button to keep it optimal when you are placing fresh groceries in it, and it is also equipped with multi-level LED lighting, which provides great visibility. The stainless steel does not mark with fingerprints and is easy to wipe clean. The inside is well lit and is very spacious. I love the drawer under the crispers, great for keeping cheese, butter etc. The water/ice works well, the light for the outside dispenser may be on/off/auto. I like that there is an alarm I may set to let me know if the door is ajar, needed it twice already! Freezer holds enough of frequently used items although I don't think I could be without my chest freezer. The fridge is quiet. So far, so good.

Glasses with a narrow opening are pretty much impossible to fill with ice without ending up with a fair bit of ice on the floor. The ice compartment is very small, once you fill a few glasses it's pretty much empty. It is much noisier (not all the time, on and off ) than our last fridge, not really sure if there is something wrong or if that\s normal. It's not very big inside but that size is our max. for a counter depth, glad we have a 2nd garage fridge for extra storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a very expensive Samsung fridge that only lasted three years with this more moderately priced unit. The exterior is amazing. No finger prints, easy to keep clean. The inside drawers stick a little but we are finding over time they are getting better. Whirlpool should consider a door ice maker so less room taken up inside the fridge. The fridge and freezer are evenly cooling and that is wonderful compared to our other unit. One suggestion, have adjustable wheels in the back, not every floor is perfectly leveled and by adjusting the front legs you don't necessarily solve the problem.

We required a counter depth refrigerator due to limited kitchen space and worried that the smaller depth would limit storage, but we’re surprised at the storage space. While probably not big enough for a large family it works very well for the two of us. Quiet operation- the only noise is an occasional clunk when ice drops into the storage bin. The layout inside is well thought out, adjustable shelving a plus. Looks sleek as well and we’ve received several positive comments. Brushed stainless surface is easy to keep clean. Great fridge all in all.

It is smaller being a counter depth. I’m not sure why they are able to charge more for a smaller frig. No doubt the delivery people prefer them. Getting the old one out was difficult but the counter depth rolled right in. The freezer is different for me. The drawers it has seems to reduce its capacity. I’ll be looking into how best to utilize the space but for now I’m happy with my new fridge choice!

It holds more than I thought it would. We went from a 25 cu ft fridge to this 20 cu ft, and because of the smart engineering, we were able to fit most of our food from the old fridge. The main section has adjustable shelves and adjustable door compartments that hold all of our food and it's all visible at a glance. The big pull out drawer holds yogurts stacked 3 high, and the large 6 packs of romaine that I buy in bulk. We decided not to increase our budget to buy the larger, 24 cu ft Whirlpool counter depth fridge, which has a larger freezer with a spot for frozen pizzas, and makes crushed ice, which would have been nice. The model we bought dispenses ice cubes and filtered water. The ice dispenser gets jammed occasionally, but it is simple to remove the ice tray and remove the cubes that are causing the problem. We LOVE the counter depth in our relatively small kitchen and the sleek, modern design. Also, in our white kitchen, the side panels of the Whirlpools are a lighter grey than some other brands, so that worked well for us, too. My only criticism is that the counter depth models are priced higher than the regular deeper depth models that have higher cu ft.

Quiet , really intuitive features like the quick cooling setting for when you come in from doing the groceries. It will get the products up to safe temps fast. Ease of access to both the ice box and water filter is a fav.

Other than a sloppy installation by the builder, it looks and works great. The ice maker works especially well. The only design feature I don’t like it that you have to open both doors, all the way to access the bottom drawer in the fridge. Since I currently use that drawer for beer, it’s a huge inconvenience!! It would have been better to have a split drawer like the two above it.
