The old one was a Whirlpool also and gave us 24 years of trouble free service so buying a new Whirlpool was a no brainer. The French door model we chose is a little more versatile and works much better than a single door unit in our rather small, tight kitchen. It is so quiet I was not sure if it was working when I first plugged it in but it works flawlessly and a bonus is the moisture control crispers which keep our fruits and vegetables fresh longer. Great Product and great value for the money.

Other than name and handle everything else is the same as the Maytag we had just replaced. The vegetable drawer get stuck most times and needs 'jiggling' to get it open. Our solution is to 'NOT' completely close it. We are hoping that the mechanism that holds the door will not break like it did with our MAYTAG, because we can't buy a replacement.Tried ordering the part with the company, our order was processed but we didn't hear back). I understand Maytag, Kitchen Aid and Whirlpool are of the same company why I mentioned the problem with my previous fridge but hope I don't encounter the same.

I do love it however I am disappointed that it came with no ice cube trays and a container to put ice cubes in. I find it a bit of an annoyance that I always have to open the right side of the door first and then close with the left side. Thus I always have to open all doors to see what's inside. I am not that organized as to putting items back in the same spot. I definitely would rather have had one door. Love the smudge free stainless steel. Definitely updated my kitchen!

I asked for a new fridge they said no have to wait for the part . I asked if they can take the part out of another fridge they said no . Really hot weather and no fridge for 2 months . Very upset !

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kdcreelman from Strong, will not go with French doors again (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Recommended setting is 3 but things near the back freeze. So we leave it set on 2. Impossible to get the doors to line up completely level, electrical wires part glued next to one of the screws you are supposed to be able to turn, cannot turn the screw without affecting the wires, and the door leveling T isn’t a perfect tool either, pretty good for such a small piece of plastic, but not perfect and the handles arrived nowhere near level, not sure how to remove screws to really try and even then out. Spent a lot of time on it but things will never be perfectly even. Not terrible, but will definitely be annoying to look at for the years to come and I’m sure will get more annoying as time progresses. The shelve spacing is different, probably really good once we get use to it.

Cepandant , je trouve que les tablettes sont trop rapprochées, on ne peut pas mettre certaine bouteille… Ce que je ferais pour améliorer , le congélateur je le ferais plus petit un peu pour pouvoir gagner de l'espace..De plus, il y a une demi- tablette ,si on met quelque chose en- dessous, il faut faire très attention car si on la frôle ou la séparation alors la demi tablette va se lever ...Aussi leusr portes n'est pas égale….voila ,,,il y a un beau look et pas trop salissant, il se nettoie bien ...

I love the see through vegetable/fruit bins as well as the long cold drawer I use for meat and cheese. The split gold back shelf is great for that tall bottle of champagne. Also the large door bins holds my condiments and large cartons of milk. Even though my old fridge was the same cubic ft this new whirlpool fridge is larger inside. Love the air filter as well as vegetable filter. This is my second whirlpool fridge. Will always stick to this brand great quality.
