Rated 5 out of 5 by Justin from This is the piece you've been looking for! This piece is the same part number your book says (W10337357) "Chimney Extension Kit" that no one can seem to locate. "It is now discontinued", they will say! These pieces slide together and adjust to meet ceiling height requirements. The insert diameters are roughly 7 1/8" x 8 1/16" and will fit down into your range hood similar to KVWB406DSS and KVWB400DSS to cover duct work. This particular model is for hoods mounted about 32"-36" (this is standard) above their range and have up to 10 ft. ceilings, if you have 12 ft ceilings, get the EXTKIT18FS. I hope this helps!
