Description

This 24-inch gas cooktop by Whirlpool is ideal for smaller spaces. It features 4 burners, including an 11,000-BTU high-power burner that provides the high temperatures needed to quickly bring water to a boil and cook with large pots or pans. When it comes to even temperatures and precise controls, the AccuSimmer burner is perfect for soups and sauces. Thanks to the raised-edge SpillGuard design, this appliance is super easy to maintain. The sealed burners contain eventual spills, while the grates can be removed and cleaned in the dishwasher. With electric ignition technology, the burners are easy to fire up and the flames remain consistent throughout cooking.

Warning to other shoppers: I ordered this but am now cancelling because the installation instructions state that it can only be installed on a counter more than 25 5/8ths deep. That is more than standard counter depth. Maybe only for an island?

Rated 3 out of 5 by esp07 from Doesn't start properly (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My burners do not start properly. It takes several tries to get it to work. I often have to leave and go back to it many times which is very annoying and time consuming. It is also annoying to clean under the caps. I called a repair person who said it may be because of the gas pipe. So not sure if it's the cooktop or the building's fault.

I have been living with a 1960's Tapan cook top for 30+ years. Wasn't use to the electric ignition system, but now that I have adapted I love it. So neat and clean, so much easier to clean since everything is closed. Love the stainless steel.
