The 800 W Wexstar Infrared panel heaters are economical to use and an environmentally responsible alternative to 1500 W heaters. Wexstar heaters generate infrared rays that provide comforting warmth using the same principle as the sun. The Infrared heat is distributed uniformly across the room and absorbed by objects and walls that release the warmth back to the room creating an overall feeling of warmth. how is the heat regulated? is there just aon/off button with no gradient temperature settings?
All Wexstar Heaters are 120v and are supplied with a plug-in on/off switch. Although this Wexstar Heater do not include a thermostat, A Plug-in Thermostat is available at Lowes.ca as separate accessory (Item#: 330001580). The thermostat regulates the temperature in the room and shuts the unit on and off accordingly. This particular thermostat is compatible with most plug-in heaters, fan & A/C. Note that if you would like to hard-wire the unti or even use another timer, switch, or thermostat of your choice, Wexstar Heaters offer no restrictions compatibility wise.

Infrared Panel Heater - Energy efficient heating
For many decades within my family we have used many different kinds of electric heating units. This unit proves to be unique with creating comfortable uniform warmth in any room up to 250 sqft. Give it 3 - 7 days for it to be effective. I highly recommend purchasing the plug in thermostat for this unit to control the heat more efficiently. It is safe. It is most energy efficient. Mounting to wall is best but if needed they sell feet to place unit standing on the floor. We bought 2 units. One for an Airbnb suite within our home where the room is cold even with a furnace in the home. A great space saver for this room. The other unit is in a small cinder block water pump house located on our farm to prevent the water pump, holding tank and pipes from freezing, so we maintain a temperature of 50F.

Works well, but ...
THe heater. works as advertised putting out IR and warmly the area reasonably close to it. My only complaint is the lack of either a thermostat or a WiFi plug to allow installations where reaching the switched plug isn't practical
