Description
Complete installation kit for mounting ceiling fans and lighting fixture. Teeth grip into joist to provide a secure installation. For remodeling or new construction. The Saf-T-BraceTM easily installs through a 4-in diameter hole in the ceiling. For fans weighing up to 70 lb., for lighting fixtures mounted on 16-in center joists weighing up to 150 lb., and lighting fixtures mounted on 24-in center joists weighing up to 50 lb. Electrical box included.

- Fits all ceiling fans
- For fixture support of 150 lbs or less on 16 in centers
- For fixture support of 50 lbs or less on 24 in centers
- Acceptable for fan support of 70 lbs or less
- Includes heavy duty, all metal, dual mount electrical box
- 6-1/2 in ROMEX or conduit knockouts; 1 ROMEX connector
- Includes Saf-T-Cap to protect inner workings during drywall installation

Perfect solution
This product was perfect for retrofitting a light fitting in my kitchen. I needed an electrical box that would take some weight and I didn’t have to open up the curling.

Easy to install
I bought this item to replace an existing plastic outlet box in order to install a ceiling fan. The hanger box was easy to install between the attic rafters and provides a solid point of anchorage for the new fan.
