Simple door lock
I bough this to replace an entrance knob to a garage door, because the former knob had no keys to lock it, from previous owner. Upon taking the old knob out , the inside was completely rusted, so was glad that I changed it.
Fairly easy installation , I used the plate installation , there a 2 options for installation, and depending on the position of the knob on the door , there are 2 slots available to use, tells you that on instructions.
You can lock it with the key from the outside or else just turn the knob on the inside to lock.

I purchased this door knob because we've been having trouble with theft in relation to a certain roommate.
I asked the pertinent questions in store, bought the correct Phillips screw drivers, and headed home.
Boy was I unprepared.
If you have never installed a door knob before, have someone come over for moral support. It took me a good thirty minutes to get everything lined up properly to insert the final screws.
Well let me tell you, after thirty minutes of trying to line up holes, you'll be frustrated. In fact, I was so frustrated, that I accidentally hand screwed the final screw in such that it went straight through the metal on the other side.
On the bright side, it's a nice colour for a door knob.
