This single cylinder deadbolt can be locked or unlocked by using the keypad or key from the outside as well as the turn button from the inside. The crisp, clean appearance of the Satin Nickel finish adds to the overall look of the product and brings a modern feel. For use on exterior doors where keyed entry and security is needed. Stopped working after 6 months
We bought two (one for each door); one works fine after ~6 months. For the other (the one we use more often), the middle column no longer works at all; 2, 8, 0 do not light up and pressing does nothing for them.

Don’t waste your money
Purchased 2 of these within the year. Both are not in working order. The touchpad on one doesn’t display the number one and the other was never programmed due to there not being a working button on the back near the batteries to allow it to be programmed. Please don’t waste your money. Very disappointed. I also have a weisers keypad with physical buttons, It is so much better! The quality is not even comparable.

Worked for a while, no longer functional.
Worked for 6 months, replaced batteries and now it no longer unlocks with the keypad. I have to use a physical key.

Je ne fais jamais de commentaire mais cette article est mieux que la SMARTCODE10 qui avait été plus dispendieux. Elle semble un peu moins de qualité mais la SMARTCODE10 qui a brisé sans quarantie de WEISER tandis que cette dernière fonctionne depuis des années chez ma soeur. En espérent que ma nouvelle acquisition dure dans le temps. Point fort : Elle est plus rapide pour l'ouverture et fermeture, j'adore car je n'ai pas le temps d'attendre. Je recommende car j'ai réussi à remplacer mon ancienne Weiser toute seule (Bingo.. trop facile).

Just what we needed!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Using one of these is so much easier than a keylock for hosting airbnbs. No need to worry about dropping off keys or losing them. We have the master number and visitors get their own. Love the autolocking feature so visitors dont accidentally forget to lock up when leaving. Very sleek and good brightness on the keypad. Apparently its meant to show when batteries are running low but we have yet to see that.

Very nice!!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It was a little finicky to install but once we got it in it works great and looks even better. The black is such a nice sleek matte colour and it really pops on our white door, it is easy to use and was easy to program.

The smart lock feature simply does not work!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was excited to try this product. I spent two hours installing the lock but simply could not program a code for the life of me! Very disappointing. I read and re-read the instructions but the programming feature simply did not work for me.

Love love love this lock!!!

The unit was relatively easy to install and I was able to program it no problem! It is SO nice to stop juggling keys when I'm trying to get in the house!! It's -33c with the windchill here right now, so having the convenience of not searching for keys in my purse is life changing! I would recommend a Weiser SmartCode touchpad to anyone, beautiful design and keeps my home secure!!! Thanks again for the opportunity to try and review this product!
