Levers are locked or unlocked by turn piece inside. The outside lever can be unlocked by an emergency key. Absolutely no problems
I thought I would rate this after several years of use. All my doors were changed over to Halifax. The installation was easy and the product still looks as good as the day I installed them with absolutely no problems.
