What are the dimensions of outside of lock and handle squares? Is there a matching dummy handle for a double door?
The dimension for Weiser model # GLA8471 SCE/HFL514 are from center of handleset to center of support hole on bottom is 8 13/32”, the distance from the bottom of handleset to the top of the deadbolt is 17 29/32”, the distance from the center of the handleset to the center of the deadbolt is 5 ½”, the projection for the exterior handleset is 2 5/8”.

Hello - Does this set include a turn piece lever on the inside to lock the door?
Since the bottom of the handle does not screw in the door, is there a way to prevent it from shifting side to side. Have had this issue in the past with these types of door handles.

Looks great, makes me feel safer
I bought this handleset after purchasing a new house. It looks very nice, We all love the finish. It is a Smartkey Lock so we can change the key when ever we feel like. The inner thumbturn/upper latch moved so freely that it worried me at first, but i am used to it now and have NO issue with it. Installation was not difficult, and there are videos on youtube to help, like this one...

Finish is already weathered after one single year.
Looked great the first year but now the finish has weathered and is now discoloured. Trying to see if they will honour the lifetime warranty. Need to send photos, etc. Store won't do anything sending me to Weiser claims.

Great front door lock set
Bought it replace my old knob brass coloured door lock. The nickle colour looks good and the handle is easier to use with arthritis.Good lock.
Now have to nickle plate my antique brass door bell to match.

Looks great and works great
We installed this last month, as well as a few other Weiser smartkey doorknobs, so that we could use one key for all our exterior doors, instead of carrying around 6 keys. The smartkey technology is fantastic, and this set looks great. Very modern, very sturdy, and no scratches or scuffs in the black finish so far. Highly recommend!

Easy install. Quality materials
This was very easy to install and the quality of materials is sure to stand the test of time. When installing pay attention to the direction of your handle set. The instructions will direct you on how to adjust if required which is very simple. The smart key feature also made matching locks to others in the house easy.
