This Weiser Amador handleset offers an unbeatable combination of function and fashion. It has a refined, structural look with a simplistic modern design and offers achievable style while maintaining superior security. The latch bolt is operated by the thumb piece on the outside and the grip on the inside. The deadbolt is operated by a key on the outside and a thumb turn on the inside. The rich tones of matte black add the finishing touch to this product. This product is covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

Nightmare installation from
Nice looking handleset but poor quality
Appearance of the handle set is fine but the installation was a nightmare. The screws weren’t long enough so we had to improvise with screws from the old handleset, The exterior and interior handles didn’t line up perfectly and we struggled to attach them - when we finally did they were slightly crooked. We would have given up but it was the only one that was the same size as the one we were replacing.

Easy install, great look
Needed a replacement handleset for my front door and saw this one on sale. It's got a great look and fits in with the general look and feel of the rest of my home. Installation was easy - about as much effort as expected. Operation of the handle and the deadbolt is smooth - feels nice and solid.
The bottom bolt of the handle component didn't quite line up with the existing hole in the door from the previous handleset. I don't plan on keeping this door for much longer, so it wasn't a big deal for me, but if you're looking to replace your handleset and don't want to drill additional holes, be sure to measure carefully.
