In a league of its own
I go through hundreds of pounds of charcoal every year. As far as briquettes go, this stuff is in a league of its own. Nothing comes close, and I've tried charcoal from all the major players. It's essentially the best of both worlds, it burns hot, clean with low ash for a long time like lump charcoal does, but you get consistent sized pieces expected of a briquette. Another killer feature is the bag is plastic, not paper, so if you accidentally leave your bag out in the rain, nothing to worry about. I wish the price was a little lower, but I still think its a good value. I usually stock on while its on sale, and unlike other charcoals it actually snuffs out well and can be relit later on. Ive done 4-5 'hot and fast' sessions over multiple days on a single chimney.

Impressed
Thought I would try these out since I normally use royal oak or kingsford - they are excellent. Burn hot and last long. Larger than your average charcoal. Does take an extra few minutes to get glowing but well worth the wait !!!

Love the bag
I bought both the Weber briquettes and the Kingsford briquettes at the same time i purchased my Dynaglo smoker.
I did a trial run on the smoker for the first time with the Kingsford and it went well.
I then trialed the Webers.
I found that they both lasted about the same time at a consistent temperature
but that temperature was hotter by about 25 to 35 degrees f for the Kingsford with the same number of briquettes.
Nothing was changed on the smoker in between tests.
That was my little experiment.
I hope this helps only because with a smoker, consistency is king!

Great charcoal!
I have tried many brands of briquettes, and I have to say I was very pleased with this product. The briquettes are a nice large size (which I wish other brands were like), lights just as good as any other brand I have used, and burns the longest that I've come across, and also keeps a consistent heat source for your grill. Very impressed, however a little bit on the pricey side, Weber could knock a dollar or two off the price. Very good product!

Very Disappointed
I believe this is first Weber Product I found unsatisfactory Briquets seem to fall a part when dumped from chimney finding unburnt pieces in bottom of kettle ,pieces blocked vent so could not control damper Bought two bags to try, only used half of each bag

Fast, convenient, easy.
This charcoal performs very well, it lasts hours, it is natural, and pieces are homogeneous, which makes it a very good choice.

Consistent Heat
After two summers of charcoal BBQ'g, and trying out a dozen or more products, my favorite charcoal by a long short for its long running consistent heat and low smoke. They take much longer to get going than other products though. I can get consistent high heat or low heat via moderating how much I use. Very impressed. Too bad they often sell out at my local retailer.
