Cooking grates chip and rust
Our Weber gas grill is about 7 years old. This will be at least the second time we’ve had to replace the cooking grates. Is that normal?

Another Rust Complaint
Same story as many others. Grill has held up well and performs beautifully. Grates, not so much. Will look for an alternative.

Grill is Awesome, Grates are terrible
enamel breaks off quickly and underlying cast iron rusts. Very poor, are there any stainless steel replacements?

Disappointing grates
I've had my Genesis 300 grill for several years and generally love it but this is going to be the 3rd or 4th time I've needed to replace the grates due to rusting. I live in New England and occasionally grill in the winter. Not sure if that's the problem but replacing the grates is not cheap.

Excellent Grill…Poor Grates
I really like my Weber E 310 gas grill! However, the porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates do not hold up well. I will have to replace mine and I have hardly used my grill yet and the grill had been under cover since I’ve bought it.

Keep rusting
I love my Weber grill but this will be the 5th set of grates since 2009. They rust when left outdoors. I use my grill all year long in Southern California so I don't bring the grates in from outdoors.

Grates
Excellent grates. A real value considering I have had my grill for 10 years. It was time to replace the originals.
