I bought this like two weeks ago it worked fine for a week then it decided it did not want to turn on anymore, replaced battery still nothing it only seems to work when it’s not in your hand , piece of garbage save your money

the display screen is not working properly
I've always trusted Weber products for over 40 years, but this thermometer does not live up to typical Weber standards. The display screen keeps turning off prior to the 10 minute auto shut off and sometimes the display appears to be magnified and illegible. I've replaced the battery and continue to have the same problem. I've only used this thermometer about 10 times.

LCD screen is garbled like everyone else is saying
I bought this a year or so ago. Now the LCD screen is messed up. Can’t read the numbers.

Numbers Disappear
Just purchased, first use experience the same issues of disappearing numbers won’t turn on when power is pushed sometimes other times it will replace batteries nothing works. Not recommended, especially seeing so many have had the same issue.

Weber Flubber!
Had this for the past season but now nothing. Battery is new but will not turn on. These china made thermometers are losing customers for Weber. I am one of them!

This is my 2nd one, when it works it’s accurate.
Went to replace the battery on 51992 and the screw is stripped!
Tried all the tricks they over on line does not work
