Can this conditioner be used with solid colour (water based) stains?
I would say yes, as long as the stains are water based. I would try a little tester.

Would this work for thinning acrylic paints, to be used in poured painting?
I use it for paint pouring all the time. It's my go to product now. It's thin like water, so just don't add ANY water (or glue) to the acrylic paint. Just mix the paint with the conditioner until it's the right consistency... Works great! My projects dry nicely.

Works well
This product mixes easily, does not change the color of the paint and keeps it running smoothly.
