Rated 2 out of 5 by Dan from Cheap Hardware The leg itself is OK, although the glue joints grain make it tough to finish. My complaint is with the mounting stud. It is far too short to anchor properly in the wood of the leg. Honestly, how much would it cost to put a proper stud in these legs? Since I've already put stain on these I guess I will not be returning them. Instead I'll make another trip to the store to buy 5/16" x 2" hanger bolts and replace the 1" long ones that came with the legs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bluize71 from Perfect Feet!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For Christmas my husband got me a beautiful wooden Catskill Kitchen Island. It came with ugly little lockable casters to be attached to it, however; I didn't want them as they were unsightly. Most other bun feet that we found were flatter and quite wide. These were PERFECT and even a bit less expensive than most we looked at. They are gorgeous and only needed the mounting platform to attach them, although we did add a coat of stain to darken them just a bit. The island turned out wonderfully and these "feet" look very classy, lso making the island just the right height.

I read the earlier review and it didn't sound like the person purchased the recommended brace - which comes with the 4 screws needed to attach it to the wood and the screw on top of the leg fits nicely into the brace. Would highly recommend this product.
