Can this be mounted onto a wooden deck?
It can be. If you can find an appropriate mounting bracket from a local hardware store like Home Depot or Lowes. Unfortunately, Vita does not offer a bracket for this application

Re: Roddy's question on how to secure the posts. The answer given to sink the posts in concrete does not make sense if the drawing is correct in showing the posts are only 7 feet long. What are the post length dimension?
Hello, thank you for your interest in our products. Additional materials are required for installation. 4x4x10’ (8.9x8.9x304.80cm) Pressure Treated Wood for Posts. Cut down in half, making two 5’ posts. Purchase at local building center. QUANTITY: x1. The pressure treated lumber is sunk into the ground and the arbor post are placed over it. What is the measurement between the posts? Also, what is the weight?

Do you have this arbor or another « charcoal » coloured one in narrower width? Say 4 ft or so?
Unfortunately we don't have anything in charcoal that would match your dimensions.

How do we secure the posts in the ground so that they stay standing?
With the Wildwood arbor, I would dig the holes nice and deep, drop the posts in and add concrete. That should let you enjoy the arbor for a long time!
