I already have a basic metal lamp post. Can I purchase theSturbridge Lamp Post and fit over the top of my present lamp post and just purchase a new lamp for the top? Also my post is 60" without the light. Can I cut the bottom of the Sturbridge to fit?

Does this lamp post come with a steak to secure it to the ground? Is it made to stand on its own, or do I need to install a centre post to be inside this one?

Hello there. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. We recommend using 4x4" pressure treated wood post and ready mix concrete to secure your lamp post.
