This model has been designed to be installed onto a wooden curb. The thickness of the wooden curb in conjunction with the thickness of the roofing membrane will determine the size of the ventilator required. The interior dimension of the wood curb should equal to the opening in the deck to allow for unobstructed airflow. The suggested roof area for one (1) ventilator model VMAX-102-12 has been calculated based on a 10'' x 10'' opening or (hole) of curb and roof deck.
