Description
Prepare your meals in a quality air environment with this white Broan by Venmar range hood. It has clean lines to give kitchens a contemporary look. With 50 W, GU10 halogen bulbs (included), the range hood illuminates the cooktop with a warm glow that's adjustable with two different settings. The range hood has EZ 1 brackets, which makes it easy for single-person installation. An HPF30 charcoal filter (sold separately) on the 5-in range hood enables non-ducted recirculation. The Bistro 30-in W, under-cabinet range hood has two high-efficiency micro-mesh filters that allow for easy cleaning. With the exclusive Captur system, this range hood provides quick smoke and odour removal. The 4-way, stainless steel, under-cabinet range hood has durable construction for longevity. Its HVI certifications serve as proof of the product's quality. With 300 Max CFM and a forward-set smooth-flow blower, expect quiet and efficient performance since this range hood's sound volume registers at 1.5 sones.

The fan is very quite and the light is bright.
Easy to install and it looks great. Super quiet in the lower setting and not too noisy on high speed. Very good deal for less than $300.

I bought this because it was quiet, with a decent 300 CFM air flow... well, my mom stir fries a lot, so she wasn't happy with just 300 CFM (stir-frying requires like 600+ CFM). However, for this price-point, the specs were great and it looks nice. My only complaint is that Venmar tells you on the box to buy a 7" galvanized duct for vertical duct removal, which I did - but it did not say that it does not come with the Venmar-made piece that holds that 7" duct onto the range hood itself! Also, be aware that for older recessed cabinets, the 1-person installation does not work as the provided rails are too long. Anyway, 4 stars for it, everything considered.

Pose facile et première intensité silencieuse
Très facile à installer grâce aux systèmes de braquettes incluses.
La première intensité est silencieuse. Par contre, j'étais certaine d'avoir acheter un modèle à turbines après avoir fouillé sur le site de Venmar. J'ai dû mal interpréter un dessin concernant leurs hottes.
Avant d'acheter, j'ai beaucoup cherché une hotte à turbine, soit en personne dans les magasins ou en ligne. Cette information spécifique est malheureusement difficile à obtenir. En déballant la Venmar, j'ai été déçue en voyant que ce n'était pas une turbine. Mais étant donné que la première intensité est silencieuse, j'en suis satisfaite.
